SEATTLE – Police will meet with members of Seattle’s Central District community Wednesday to discuss a recent rise in violence.
There have been several incidents in the area, including the unsolved murder of Justin Ferrari. He was hit by a stray bullet last week in front of his children and parents.
The East Precinct Advisory Council is hosting the meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the Garfield Community Center.
Seattle Police brass told city councilmembers Tuesday they plan to put extra police on the street as part of anti-violence patrols.
