The derelict fishing boat that sank in Penn Cove is now in the Seattle area. A tug pulled the "Deep Sea" about 50 miles to a shipyard in Ballard, where workers will dismantle it.
The 140-foot boat caught fire and sank May 12 near Coupeville. Cranes raised it last weekend.
The state Department of Ecology says the operation to remove the wreck and the spill response cost about $2 million.
