A pedestrian hit by two vehicles on Interstate 5 in Everett and a rollover semi on Interstate 90 made the early rush hour difficult for drivers.
The Washington State Patrol said a man in his 30’s was in the southbound lanes of I-5 near State Route 526 when he was hit by one vehicle then run over by another. The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle in critical condition.
Investigation of the accident blocked four lanes for more than an hour.
At about the same time, a semi truck rolled over on the westbound lanes of I-90 at Rainier Avenue in Seattle, blocking all lanes. The Department of Transportation opened the express lanes westbound to keep traffic flowing.
