SEATTLE - The preparations and promotions for Saturday's playoff game stretch well beyond the walls of CenturyLink. The showdown between the Seahawks and the Saints is inspiring all sorts of special deals citywide.

On Queen Anne Avenue, Zaw is offering $12 pizzas for the 12th Man, and manager Scott Aguilar said he suspects sales could be double what they normally see on a Saturday.

Next door to CenturyLink Field, Brian Hale, the owner of Gameday Sports Shop, is getting ready to break records at the cash register. He said sales have already been three to four times better than usual this week thanks to the playoffs.

"For this location it is surreal. This is like a dream come true for me," said Hale.

Because of a special promotion, some of the loudest fans in football will be welcome at one of Seattle's quietest places -- the Seattle Public Library. Librarian Marcellus Turner said the downtown library will open its auditorium so more than 200 people can watch the game on a wall-size screen.

"We are prepared for the noise, we really are. We hope that we get some loud fans here on Saturday," said Turner.

Turner added the watch party is a rare event for the library, but he sees it as a great way to connect with the community.
