SEATTLE -- A Seattle Fire Department hazardous materials team did not find any dangerous or hazardous materials at a federal office building.

A female patient was taken to the hospital as a precaution, according to Seattle Fire spokesperson Kyle Moore.

Seattle FD responded to a federal office building where an employee reported feeling sick after opening an envelope.

Moore said the worker felt nauseous and dizzy Thursday morning. Responders isolated the worker in one room and the envelope in another, but did not evacuate the building. Moore said the rest of the workers there were "sheltering in place."

The building, on East Marginal Way South, houses the Seattle branch of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
