The International District will be busy this weekend with festival goers taking part in the 2013 Dragon Fest.

Vibrant Lion and Dragon dances, rhythmical Japanese taiko drumming, Chinese martial arts demonstrations, Asian drill team, Indian dance performances, and much more will be featured throughout the weekend.

The festival is expected to attract more than 25,000 people over two days and features a line-up of over 30 cultural performances.

There will be $2 dollar bites from over 30 restaurants along with $2 dollar cocktails, as well as an all-ages dance party under a disco ball hanging from the Chinese gate on Saturday night. There will be family-friendly fun during the day for children as well.
