The Department of Transportation banded peregrine falcon chicks in a nest under the Ship Canal Bridge in Seattle on Monday.
Biologists and a licensed bander climbed up to do the job.
The female - "Bridget" was born in 2000 on the old Trojan Nuclear Cooling Tower in SW Washington and Dad was hatched in 2001 on the old WAMU tower.
The DOT says one chick who was banded last year showed up at the Portland airport in October. She was relocated away from the airport.
