SEATTLE -- As part of their National Military Month to support veterans, CARSTAR auto body repair experts collected and donated I-Pods, e-readers and I-Tunes gift cards to veterans receiving treatment at Seattle's Veterans Administration Hospital.
Working with the charity I-Pods For Wounded Veterans, the 21 businesses passed out the electronic gifts Wednesday February 13, 2013. It is a way to thank veterans for their service as well as ease the boredom and provide a diversion from length treatments.
Every year, CARSTAR businesses partner with E-surance to refurbish and donate a car to a needy veteran.
