You no longer need to go to California to hang ten while catching a wave. Now you can surf any lake in our area.

Wake surfing allows riders to surf behind boats with in-board motors that create wakes. The boards have no bindings and once you are up and going, you toss the rope back into the boat. After that, you surf until you run out of lake.

Babes on Boards is a group of women teaching other women how to wake surf. They do it on Lake Washington and it is designed to be a fun, stress-free environment. For more information on how women can take part visit the Seattle Boat website.
