Eleven Garfield High School students have been temporarily expelled while the school system investigates a freshman hazing incident.
The school's principal says about 100 kids were drinking at an off-campus party at the Washington Park Arboretum last month.
He says underclassmen were paddled, ordered to wear diapers, painted with shoe polish, and hit with eggs.
The expulsion is not a disciplinary action. It just gets the students out of the school during the investigation which could last 10 days.
Any possible discipline would happen after that.
