A man was shot Saturday night at a Renton vigil for another shooting victim.
It happened around 9:45 p.m. in the 300 block of SW Sunset Boulevard. Renton police say a 23-year-old Las Vegas man was shot three times. His wounds were not considered life-threatening.
A witness says the person who was shot Saturday was an innocent bystander and that the shooting happened as a result of a dispute between two other men at a candelight vigil.
The vigil was for a man who was found shot to death in a burning car Friday morning.
Police say they do not believe Saturday’s shooting was in retaliation for Friday’s shooting.
No arrests have been made.
