OLYMPIA, Wash. -- Health officials in Olympia are concerned a lot of people may have handled a dead bat that was infected with rabies inside a Jo-Ann Fabric Store.
The dead bat was found on a store shelf on September 9 while the two customers were in the store's Halloween section.
The Thurston County Public Health and Social Services had the bat tested for rabies.
On September 14, rabies test results came back positive.
