OLYMPIA, Wash. – A newborn boy found dead in an Olympia home Monday was stillborn, the Thurston County Coroner ruled Tuesday.
The baby was found in the home on city's west side after a 28-year-old woman was taken to the hospital by ambulance complaining of abdominal bleeding and pain.
Police say she did not reveal her recent pregnancy, but hospital staff determined she had given birth.
Coroner Gary Warnock said there was no evidence to suggest foul play.
There was still no indication from police Tuesday as to why the woman did not admit she had been pregnant.
