A fire started by vandals has caused the closure of ACES High School in Mukilteo.
The Mukilteo School District website is reporting that the fire was set outside the school building and did not cause any structural damage. Smoke from the fire did get into the main building and did enough damage to cause officials to cancel classes for Wednesday.
ACES is an alternative high school that serves about 200 students. Teachers and staff are expected to work inside the building on Wednesday.
