Snohomish County Sheriff's deputies are investigating who dumped two stolen cars into Lost Lake.
The cars were found Friday morning after someone reported seeing a vehicle go into the water and two people run away from the scene.
A dive team found the first car, which they learned was reported stolen in July.
During the dive, they discovered a second vehicle, which was stripped but never reported stolen.
Both cars were removed.
Investigators are contacting both owners.
Lost Lake is located near Maltby.
