SEATTLE – Everett is about to get an indoor football team again.

The Daily Herald reports the Everett Raptors will make their debut in the Indoor Football League next February. The team will play at Comcast Arena.

Originally known as the Kent Predators, the team got a new owner and new head coach before the 2011 season. The team struggled to get fans to its home games at the ShoWare Center and was sold again midway through the season. The new owners immediately picked a new head coach and changed the name to the Seattle Timberwolves.

Everett used to be home to the Everett Hawks of the National Indoor Football League and arenafootball2. They played three seasons before folding due to financial struggles.
