EVERETT, Wash. -- Friday morning the Federal Aviation Administration is expected to release a final environmental assessment about passenger air service at Paine Field.
Nick Dean is an Everett resident and aircraft photographer who does not want commercial flights to share the runway with Boeing test flights and private planes.
"I am not interested in having that at all from the selfish standpoint of being an aircraft photographer," said Dean. He is concerned commercial flights would deliver restrictions on how close he would be able to get to the runway. "It would change everything."
Xiaoyu Wu is a frequent flyer who sees the commercial flights as a great opportunity,
"It might be another choice for me," said Wu.
Oncethe final environmental assessment is released tomorrow you will be able to find a link to the report at KING5.com.
No public hearings are planned, but the public will have 30 days to submit comments about the new report. The FAA is expected to give a final answer about commercial flights at Paine Field at the end of November.
