SILVERDALE, Wash. - Corey Sayers liked to have fun and loved music. Sayers, who enlisted in the Navy in 2004, just moved to Kitsap County last year but he quickly found a karaoke partner in Daisy Tison.
They went out singing with friends a week ago Saturday night.

"We got to hug and tell each other we loved each other,” said Tison.
Within hours, Sayers was dead. The 26-year-old somehow lost control of his motorcycle and hit a barrier on an exit off Highway 3 in Silverdale.

Sayers survived the initial impact, but he was killed after an explorer ran over him.

Detectives still have questions about the case. Numerous witnesses report seeing another car on the off-ramp - a black 4-door sedan - that might have hit Sayers before the SUV.
Troopers want to speak with that driver who supposedly stopped and then drove off.

"We're not looking to pin any blame on anybody or make an arrest in this case, we're just looking for someone who may have seen something,” said Det. Christa Hedstrom, Washington State Patrol.

"It would be nice to know the circumstances of why he was no longer on his bike,” said Tison.

Those who loved Corey Sayers say finding out what happened would make losing him a little easier.

"It seemed like we knew each other forever but now it seems like it wasn't long enough,” said Tison.

Witnesses describe the car as a black, four-door sedan, possibly a Mercedes. It had spoiler and was in good condition.
If you know anything about the case you are asked to call the State Patrol.
