BELFAIR, Wash.  - Elisah Gentry takes the Boy Scouts seriously and believes in the scout motto: 'Be Prepared.'

Gentry is prepared for everything.

The 18-year-old recently became of one three Boy Scouts in the country to earn all 133 merit badges.

Being an Eagle Scout wasn't enough for Gentry.

"I thought it'd be a good goal to achieve," said Gentry.

That meant getting over his fear of swimming in open water.

"I just pretended it was a big puddle," said Gentry, who turned 18 in June.

Some of the other merit badge highlights: Gentry had to work in a community play, fire a rifle, build a robot and study history.

Gentry followed his older brother into scouting.

David Gentry also earned every badge possible in 2010. At the time there were 129 different badges.

"After seeing all the stuff I had to go through and still wanting to do it," said David Gentry, "Is a little crazy, in my opinion."

The boys' father, who did not excel in scouting, is more than impressed.

"It's absolutely unbelievable, it's surreal," said Paul Gentry.
