Bellingham Police are seeking help from the public in identifying a man found dead in Franklin Park Saturday morning.

Police were called to the scene at 7:30 a.m. Saturday after a neighbor found the man lying in the middle of the park.

The man was checked by medics and was confirmed dead. Police found no identification and no cell phone with him.

The man appeared to be well dressed, neat, and clean shaven.  He is a white male, 20 to 30 years of age, 5'10", medium to slim build, short light brown/blond curly hair with side burns and green eyes.

He was wearing a Black Columbia brand fleece jacket, tan/black striped long sleeved thermal shirt, gray jeans, black Reebok boxers, and black low rise Converse sneakers.

Police say there is no apparent cause of death. An autopsy will be performed next week to determine the cause.

Anyone with information on this individual is asked to call the Bellingham Police Department at 360 676-6911.
