BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The Whatcom County Prosecutor has filed first degree murder charges against a man and a woman for the death of the man’s wife.
Police say Keayn Dunya shot his wife, Kirston, at her Bellingham apartment July 3.
Dunya’s girlfriend, Karen Jo Buchanan, is accused of helping with the murder.
Dunya and his wife were in the middle of a divorce and child custody dispute.
