A motorcyclist in Redmond was killed Thursday morning after crashing his bike and then being hit by a car.
The crash happened after 9:00 a.m. on Union Hill Road near 196th Avenue Northeast.
King County Sheriff's deputies said the male driver of the motorcycle lost control of the bike and was ejected off of it.
A woman driving an SUV up Union Hill Road was unable to avoid hitting the victim, said deputies.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies said the motorcyclist's speed was a factor in the crash.
