Washington Attorney General Rob McKenna announced $1.8 million in grants and direct consumer payments are available for people who have lost their homes to foreclosure and to those who are struggling to make their mortgage payments. The funds come from a settlement with Bank of America over unfair lending practices of Countrywide Financial, which Bank of America purchased in 2008.
