******

Our El Nino weather feels warm, but it could have a cold effect on our electric bills. The low snow pack is cutting into revenues at Seattle City Light and the whole region's power grid.

Can we say rate increase? I guess you'll pay whether you use it or not.

I would love a rate increase. This power is just a little too cheap for me. I wonder if they charged 5 dollars per kilowatt , then it would seem worth while as an expense. Just kidding of course . And think in the back of your mind. Power companies need profit. The shareholders would have it no other way. Cold weather, means , investors like you and me, can have a nice return on our initial investment.

So they raise rates when power use is low because they aren't making enough money and they raise rates when use is high to moderate use? Sounds like I need a few shares.
