SEATTLE – The joke is that you can find a Starbucks on just about every corner.

Despite that, Starbucks stores are the second-most sought after business in GPS searches, according to a new study by navigation service provider TeleNav.

According to data collected in December 2009, Telenav says the No. 1 U.S. business its customers seek on their GPS is Walmart, followed closely by Seattle-based Starbucks.

Here is the complete list:

1. Walmart

2. Starbucks

3. Target

4. Best Buy

5. Bank of America

6. Walgreens

7. Pizza Hut

8. Home Depot

9. McDonald's

10. Chase Bank

Despite living in a tech-savvy area, Seattle did not finish in the top 10 cities for the most GPS searches. Los Angeles was No. 1.

Washington state did not finish in the top 15 for most frequent use of GPS. Maryland tops that list.

Seems to be an odd list... hungry people shopping at cheap spots and then going to the bank to pay for the stuff... =)
