OLYMPIA, Wash. - Gov. Chris Gregoire on Thursday will announce the release of a report by the Passenger Vessel Association on WSDOT Ferries Division.
At the request of Gregoire earlier this year, the PVA, the leading national organization for public and private ferry and other passenger vessel agencies and businesses, convened a national expert review panel to review past studies and audits and to examine the ferry system's operations for best-practice recommendations.
PVA assembled a panel of representatives from leading public and private ferry systems and completed a report this month.
