EXPLORER'S NEXT FRONTIER: Microsoft has released the latest version of its Web browser to users of its Windows 7 operating system. Tuesday's expansion gives Microsoft Corp. the chance to introduce Internet Explorer 10 to a larger audience.
STILL FINE TUNING: For now, Internet Explorer 10 is only available in a "preview," or test, mode on Windows 7. The browser already has been included on personal computers and other devices running in Windows 8, a new version of the operating system released Oct. 26.
BROWSER BATTLE: Microsoft is trying to regain some of the market share lost to rival browsers in recent years.
