MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. (AP) — Officials at Minot Air Force Base say the 91st Missile Wing's operations support squadron commander is being replaced because a loss of confidence in his ability to provide necessary leadership.
Wing Commander Col. Robert Vercher announced Thursday that Lt. Col. Randy Olson is being relieved of duty. The operations support squadron conducts training, ensures crew proficiency and reinforces standards for the whole operations group.
Minot Air Force Base public affairs Capt. Genieve David says Lt. Col. Trevor Hazen will assume command of the 91st operations support squadron on Friday.
