Malmstrom Air Force Base to get new commander

GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) — Malmstrom Air Force Base is set to get a new commander.

The Great Falls Tribune reports (http://gftrib.com/VE6pMX ) Col. Robert Stanley will take over command in a Friday ceremony.

Stanley will be taking over for Col. H.B. Brual, who has been the Malmstrom commander since August 2011.

Brual will serve on the staff of Air Force Global Strike Command at Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana.

Stanley has been Malmstrom's vice commander since June 2011.
