PORTLAND – Some flights at the Portland International Airport were delayed Thursday afternoon after an F-15 blew out two tires while landing.
Just before 3 p.m. the plane landed at the airport limiting some air service.
No one was injured, said Steve Johnson with the Port of Portland.
Alaska Airlines confirmed two planes were diverted to Seattle until the runway could be cleared for landing. Other airlines also confirmed rerouting planes Thursday.
Travelers should consult their flight schedules to check on delays.
