SEATAC, Wash. -- All Nippon Airways was scheduled to put a Boeing 787 into daily service Monday on the Tokyo-Seattle route.

The flight from Tokyo arrived at Sea-Tac Airport Monday morning, but its return departure was delayed for 24 hours while technicians worked to resolve a cooling system problem. The flight is now scheduled to depart for Tokyo at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday.

ANA was Boeing's launch customer for the 787, a fuel-efficient widebody twinjet. The airline started the Seattle-Tokyo route in July, using a Boeing 777.
