Boeing announced Monday it set records for orders and deliveries of its 737 in 2012.
In a statement, Boeing said it delivered its 377th Next-Generation 737 Monday – a 737-900ER for United Airlines.
The previous record of 376 was set in 2010.
The company said it already broke its own record in October for net orders in a single year. There are currently 1,031 orders for the Next-Generation 737 and the 737 Max. The previous record, set in 2007, was 846.
