EVERETT, Wash. -- Boeing is one step closer to delivering its first 787 Dreamliner to a domestic airline.
The aerospace giant will roll out a 787 for United Airlines from its Everett paint hangar Tuesday morning.
The plane features a gold line wrapped around the fuselage and swoops from nose to tail.
The paint design is being adopted for the United 787 to pay tribute to the two companies' history of working together.
Boeing is also expected to confirm reaching a goal for its current fleet of 737 planes.
The company promised carriers the planes would be 8 percent more fuel efficient than older models.
Boeing will say they've now reached the goal.
