Times: Work nearly complete on assembling Highway 99 tunnel drill

A massive crane positions the central section of the machine that will bore the SR 99 tunnel beneath downtown Seattle. Currently being manufactured in Japan, the machine will be five stories tall and weigh 7,000 tons when crews finish assembling it in late 2012.
