OLYMPIA, Wash. -- A woman was reportedly abducted in Olympia Wednesday morning, police say.

Police say the 21-year-old woman was standing at a bus stop on Martin Way when an unknown man drove up and pulled her into the vehicle. She reported the man hit her several times and ripped her clothes. She was able to escape from the vehicle when the car stopped in a nearby parking lot and ask for help.

Police say the suspect is described as a tall white man in his 30s, with brown hair and a receding hair line. He was wearing a dark jacket at the time.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to call Olympia Police at 360-570-3871 or Thurston County CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
