Two vehicles were hit by bullets early Sunday morning in Pierce County and the Washington State Patrol is asking for the public's help in locating witnesses.
The first vehicle was struck a bullet/bullets at 4:15 a.m. while driving eastbound on State Route 16 between the Narrows Bridge and Jackson Avenue. The driver of the minivan was not hit or injured.
At approximately 4:45 a.m. a full-sized sedan was struck by multiple bullets on northbound Interstate 5 between 56th Street and 38th Street. That driver was also unharmed.
State patrol is looking for witnesses who may have noticed anything out of the ordinary, including pedestrians, vehicles parked on the should, odd noises, or anything else.
It is unknown if these incidents are related or are two separate acts.
