Lockdown ends for two Maple Valley schools

MAPLE VALLEY, Wash. - Students at two Maple Valley schools were being kept after school in lockdown after several students reported a suspicious man in the woods near Cedar River Middle School and Shadow Lake Elementary.

Forty students at the middle school and 500 from the elementary were being kept inside the schools as deputies searched for the man.

No suspect was found and the children were released just before 5 p.m.
