The King County Sheriff’s Office was investigating Friday what it described as a suspicious death at a home near Woodinville on the 15000 block of NE 192nd Street.

A sheriff's office spokesperson says a man's body was found inside the home by his daughter. She went to check on him Friday evening after not hearing from him in days.

"She's very upset and shocked at this point," said Sgt. Cindi West, spokesperson for King County Sheriff's office.

Police say the victim suffered head injuries and don't believe things add up, they're calling the death suspicious. Investigators are collecting evidence from the scene in case they rule it a homicide.

"We take our time, slow down, gather all the evidence, take photos, measurements and do a complete thorough examination of the crime scene," said Sgt. West.

Neighbors are in disbelief.

"The fact that this happened here is really kind of shocking. Nothing like this happens, there's a break-in every once in a while. This is not normal," said Jordan Elbaum, who lives nearby.

The medical examiner's office will determine the cause of the man's death. If ruled a homicide, family members will be questioned.

"Does he live alone, is ther anyone else that should be in the house, who does he associate with," said Sgt. West.

Investigators will get a search warrant for the house and be on scene through Saturday morning.
