A suspect has been arrested in the assault on a Tacoma day care center worker.
Andrake Morris, 19, is being held in the Pierce County Jail.
According to court documents, Morris talked his way into Tender Heart Learning Center by saying he was a father looking to school his child.
Instead, he beat, raped and robbed a woman who worked at the center.
The victim's mother stopped the attack.
In the hospital, the victim picked the suspect's face out of a montage and when police went to Morris' home, they found the victim's phone and wedding ring.
Morris is also tied to two earlier crimes. In one, he broke into a house and committed a lewd act on a person inside while she slept. In another, he robbed a mother and her two children at gunpoint. That mother also pointed Morris out.
Morris is being held on $1 million bail. He will be formally arraigned on Thursday.
