It was a gorgeous day for the official Opening Day of Boating festivities on Saturday.

Thousand of people lined the Montlake Cut at the University of Washington on Saturday for Opening Day of Boating Season boat parade and the UW crew races.

Both the Husky men's and women's varsity eight won their respective Windermere Cups, beating Cornell and Dartmouth in front of 10,000 spectators.
