Stevens Pass to open for skiing Wednesday

STEVENS PASS, Wash. -  Stevens Pass Winter Resort is set to open Wednesday for the ski season.

The resort will open with early season operations on five of 10 lifts, including SkyLine, Brooks, Hogsback, and Daisy.

"With La Niña climate predictions and 32 inches of snow at the summit, the resort staff is excited to kick off the season and spin the lifts for our guests starting Wednesday morning" said John Gifford, General Manager of Stevens Pass. "We have a great crew of employees this winter, and with summer improvement projects complete the resort looks great and is ready to run."

The resort will open Wednesday with early season operations on 5 of 10 lifts, including SkyLine, Brooks, Hogsback, and Daisy.

Early season rates and hours will also apply, with operations from 9 am to 4 pm at the following prices for daily lift tickets:

  • 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. rates:
  • Adult (16-61) $48, $44
  • Student (13-15) $40, $36
  • Youth (7-12) $32, $28
  • Children (6 & Under) $8
  • Senior (62-69) $32, $28
  • Seniors (70 & Over)$15
