SEATTLE – Six people – including two firefighters - were injured when a car ran into an aid unit in downtown Seattle early Saturday.

It happened shortly before 1 a.m. at the corner of Fourth Avenue and Cherry Street.
    
Witnesses told police a silver infinity sped through a red light and hit the aid unit.
    
All four people in the infinity were taken to Harborview Medical Center.
    
One was in serious condition.
    
The two Seattle firefighters were evaluated at Harborview and released.

Do you idiots really think that someone who doesn't respect a red light and the consequences of what running one does will care if there is a red light camera? Sheep like you keep feeding the idiotic governments that continue to install these things. Red light cameras don't work,,, they just fine the people trying to hurry on a yellow. There's no hard evidence these cameras make anything safer.

we need more, not fewer, red light cameras. Or, in today's depressed world, a traffic police person on every corner?

Thank goodness for the mcmayor's plan to stagger the bar closing hours...then this sort of thing might have happened at 3:00 am instead of 1:00 am, and THAT'LL make all the difference in the world. McGinn = buffoon

Ran a red light huh? Now if there had been a red light camera at the intersection, the driver would have probably slowed down! And, maybe heard, and seen, the emergency vehicles coming.
