SEATTLE – Two Seattle Police cars were rammed by a suspected car thief early Saturday morning.

Police say at about 4:30 a.m., North Precinct officers responded to a report of a car prowl in progress in the 12300 Block of 33rd Avenue NE.

As officers were arriving in the area, they saw a suspicious vehicle leaving the area. The officer attempted to stop the vehicle, but the car, descibed as a dark colored Cadillac Deville 4 door, struck the patrol car and refused to stop.

A second officer arriving at the scene was also hit by the suspect's car. The driver then took off south on Lake City Way and entered I-5 south. Police then called off the pursuit.

The police cars were driveable.

Police say they have enough information on the suspect vehicle to follow up the investigation.

The blue tun thugs do love their car chases. Its always an adrenaline rush. Crash... Crash.... Not their cars. Taxpayers will buy them another. Its a shame they didn't get to shoot someone.

Wouldn't it be nice to have the license plate information posted. Just incase someone happens to notice the car.
