Search warrant served in connection with Lindsey Baum case

I haven't heard too much about this case in a while . I moved a few day's after Lidnsay went missing. I do know some of her family member's and they are great people, my Heart goes out to Melissa as One Mother to another I could not even Imagine what she is going through and I hope to God that I will never have to. It is really hard these day's not to have parent's and sibling's as suspect's as well, due to the fact that parent's are killing their kid's almost on a daily basis..I pray to God that Melissa get's her Daughter back safe and sound , and that they find the person or people who took her..This is all about LINDSAY and finding her not about this Tim guy, let the Police or FBI take care of it..Just pray and help find this little girl so she can come home to her mother and they can have peace in their life again..Melissa , I pray to God our Father almighty help find Lindsay and keep her safe and return her home to you...I pray you have strength to stay strong through this,AMEN!!

First of all everyone need's to let the Police/ FBI do their job... where are all of you people from, talking about how he never had sex with his sister and this lady being his 1st girlfriend and their really step brother and sister... you all need to learn how to spell for one and 2 you all sound ignorant... The most ''IMPORTANT '' Thing here is that they find this Poor little Girl , and all you are worried about is making this Tim person out to be a SAINT!!! It doesn't matter how well you know a person , because you don't know them that well. Ted Bundy was a great guy too, and look at what he did. As I say TNO = Trust No One ...I used to work with Sex offender's back in Washington in Oly and on McNeil Island and let me tell you , some of them guy's talk to you and you sometime's forget what scum bag's they are . They are very good at playing the good guy . I'm a Parent and I am so paranoid , everyone tell's me I'm too over protective and I say I will never stop being that way !!!

For all of you who think Tim is such a wonderful person, he's not. I happen to know for a fact that a few years back (roughly 6 years) Him and his wife tried buying a girl from her mother for $10,000. I know this because at the time I was close to both families. I don't think they intended to hurt the girl, but had become somewhat obsessed with her being part of their family. So, people are not always what they seem. It is impossible to think that you know someone and what kind of a person they are after 30 years.

To all those people who have stated that Tim is guilty or that they're happy the FBI did this to him. Just remember that they (FBI) aren't always perfect. Remember Ruby Ridge in Idaho when they killed a woman, though they weren't entirely guilty in Waco. They don't always do their homework to the extent that they should. In any investigation law enforcement gets tips and checks them out before acting on them. In Tim's case they acted before verifing the tips. For instance the so called sexual harassment that originally started out as a Wrongful Termination suit, then changed when it became evident there was just cause. Then the second one was fired for inappropriate behavior then claimed sexual harassment then got the first woman on board when she was introduced to the first woman claiming sexual harassment(per lassie). When the first was fired the second was hired so there wasn't a large amount of time passed between them as claimed also per lassie. Judge not for you will be judged

tim was very shy as a kid I hate to say this I thought ann was a little off as a teen I think a little of that rubed of on tim but he was very kind so if he became eccentric as aduilt I think ann just rude off I realy hated to say that but when I when to there house as a teen she was kind of weird to young in the head I think I did not know what he seen in her but he loved her and I cared about him being happy so I just did not go back still nothing went bad as a kid but a good wife I think would have help her husband keep his family to gether but tim followed her but the men always follow the wife now don,t they lol well there was just no dark side to tim just shy quiet kind he did not talk much he would go rock climing he saved someones life on that rope and if I remeber right he got him self a hernea doing it I seen that in a paper when he was like 19 or 20 maybe if you ask him he will tell you

To Makala_Hill8b1, Tell me what kid doesn't think that adults are weird or creepy. You stated that you are happy that the FBI did this to Tim. Think about this, what or how would you feel if they did this to your father. Attempt to destroy your parents' marriage, knowingly lie to make your father look guilty, make claims he did things that never happened, claim he wasn't where he said he was when he had people state he was there at the time he claimed he was. Tim is eccentric but wouldn't hurt a fly. For as much as people know it could have been your father or even the father of the girl friend of the girl she was with that night. These people were never checked. Just because someone is different doesn't make them guilty of crimes. I know/ have known business people that sold drugs, and have known law enforcement that sold and did drugs. I have said it before and will still say it the mother and brother have questions to answer.

I live in McCleary and I was there yesterday for the trick or treating thing and that guy was creepy. We got out of there quick. I totally understand why they would do this. People who live down the road from me are suspects, and they are wierd. If you act secretive or wierd don't be suprised when this happens to you.

I knew lindsey, she went to my school. And i was at that store yesterday and that guy is creepy. I understand why they would do this. My bus passed there on the way home and there was FBI people and cops.

To clarify i have no opinion on who is responsible for Lyndsey's disappearance. I also am a neighbor & agree things were concerning before & after her disappearance in regards to her family. But I would like to make it clear that the employee you say was a thief did not know the other person who had worked for tim & had no idea this had happened to another employee. When I heard what happened to her I remembered things the other employee had told me a few years prior about the same type of behavior. I was the one who told her that she was not alone & arranged for them to meet so she could see if indeed this had happened before. All i am saying is i heard two employees who had never heard of each other tell me similar stories years apart. i also feel the need to give some advice to his step sister. It might not be a good idea to say you could two could have had sex if he wanted to. Im sure it was meant to help but some may take it different.

Your right on one thing lassie. Lyndsey is the one thing ne Tim works with just came out and most important. But the facts remain company receipts don't lie. The woman the make the quilt was asked about the bill and she brought out that the employee said it was ok'd which it wasn't, and disappeared without Tim even seeing the quilt. Other receipts showed lowered prices, something most businesses wouldn't do except for their employees not jane doe customers. The stripper also hit on the guy that owns the property she wanted to open the salon on. I happened to have gone to school with and have known him since grade school. So your so-called facts are shot out of the water. As already stated receipts don't lie when they are the copies(originals to customers) with no signs of tampering. Maybe your friend isn't being honest with you, as someone that Tim works with was just questioned and proved the FBI has been lying about Tim since the beginning.

Yes lassie I can prove quite abit, but as also have said before some people have said that the mother was acting strange (these were her own neighbors and friends) and sold things immediately afterward. As for the employees, yes it can be proven that one was a stripper who was hitting on male customers that came in, and the other mispriced thousands of dollars in repairs and even took barter as payment of a repair costing a couple hundred dollars (the quilt), I was shown the receipt with that employees handwriting on it. The companies copies of the receipts don't lie. im So as stated the one that took home the bartered item never cleared it with Tim to take home constituting theft, When she was terminated for incompetence she tried to claim sexual harassment and even went to the stripper and got her on board with the same claim. Tim didn't settle, the insurance company did as a nuisance claim, he wanted to go to court to prove himself. I known Tim for yrs unlike some eho make claim to

She is also a very tolerant person so he really cross the line. And I don't believe anyone said anything bad about his wife, I have only heard nice things of her. I'm highly disappointed in the way the media has handled this one, along with the comments from individuals with no involvement or knowledge of the parties being investigated. I suggest those of you who don't know these people, or have any information that leads to finding Lindsey, keep your ignorant opinions and false information to yourselves. This is a stressful time for us all. Our community has truly suffered through this and the mentality will never be the same. The Hartman's have always been a positive influence in our community, extremely involved in fundraisers, donating time and services to all sorts of events. They are kind people and don't deserve the judgement that others are casting on them. Don't jump to conclusions people, it's simply an investigation. You could be next.

The FBI has purposely been making lies about this guy, they claim they were told something and without checking the facts go around to other people that don't even know the guy an tell them fabricated things about him. They(theFBI) even tried to case his employee to have an accident by cutting them off and then hitting his brakes trying to get her to rearend him. I must adamantly disagree with lassie69 Tim Hartman is a very upstanding guy and the sexual harrassment charges against him were made by two imbittered former employees that just plain werent smart enough to do the work in his shop and were dismissed! Tim wanted to fight these charges because they were unfounded and he knew he would have won but the insurance company chose to settle! So yes lassie69 is correct in stating that things arent always as they seem! I have known Tim for a few years and many mistake his eccentricity as something else but he is an outstanding master crafsman as a jeweler as well as an outstanding human being who selflessly serves his community as an EMT and trainer of of health care proffessionals! It's sad that people like lassie69 choose to believe petty, unfounded, accusations and heresay about great people like Tim!

Hartman is alot more upstanding than this what lassie69 states. Of the 2 employees that accused him of sexual harassment 1 was fired for costing the company thousands of dollars in repairs and even told a customer the he would accept a homemade quilt for one of the repairs, which she took home for herself. This makes out as employee theft. The other employee was trying to get it on with the male customers offering favors. This woman even went to a friend of his and wanted to rent the property where the paintball site now sits to put in a nude hair styling salon. So lassie69 should make sure they have the facts straight. One good question the FBI and Sheriffs office should answer is where did Lynsey's mother computer disappear to. Its been said she parted out the computer ,the hard drive to one person and the rest to another. The mother even got rid of the bike that the brother had when he was heard threatening her over. And what about the Disneyland trip so soon after her missing.

Pretty irresponsible of King 5 to even run this story. What's the news here? They apparantly didn't find anything and Hartmen is one of dozens of persons of interest in the case? Running this person's name through the public based on nothing doesn't help the investigation. Shame on King 5.

The Hartman's are very community oriented people, and have always supported the school and any cause in need in McCleary. I would certainly hope that this is just a mistake, or that law enforcement is just eliminating them as suspects. They are an outstanding family based on my dealings with them. Lindsey is a neighbor of ours and it pains us to think that someone has done something with her. Her house was just around the corner. Sweet girl. This whole issue has been a bad dream from the beginning, but unfotrunately we wake up every morning and the nightmare doesn't go away. It just makes me so sad.
