PORTLAND -- The Portland Police Bureau was offering a reward for the capture of the so-called "Beastie Boys Bandit" bank robber.
The suspect wears a wig, fake mustache,sunglasses and dark-colored suit with a white shirt. His photo was taken in two robberies in June at U.S. Bank branches June 3 at 1225 SE Caesar Chavez Blvd., and June 8 at 1901 NE 42nd Ave.
Each time he has presented a demand note stating he's armed or there is a device of some sort in the bank. In the June 3 robbery, he had a gun in his waistband.
The suspect was described as in his mid-30s to early 40s, about 5 foot 10 or 6 feet tall, 170 to 200 pounds, and with a thin build.
