GRAYS HARBOR, Wash. -- Grays Harbor sheriff's deputies are searching for a missing woman.

Sherry Lynn Christy was last seen Sunday afternoon in Ocean Shores. Police found her car abandoned Tuesday night on Ocean Beach Road in Copalis Crossing. When Christy's husband later went to the car impound lot, he found her purse and her ID inside the car.

A Grays Harbor County Sheriff's spokesman said she was possibly picking mushrooms in the area. Police also discovered the woman's car did have some mechanical issues. At this point, they do not suspect foul play.

According to local radio station KBKW: Ocean Shores, WA - The body of a missing Grays Harbor woman was found earlier this morning. Grays Harbor Sheriff's Chief Criminal Deputy Dave Pimentel tells us a search and rescue dog team found the body of Sherry Christy in the Langley Hill area, about a half mile Northwest of where her truck was found earlier this week. Most of Christy's family lived out of town and converged on Grays Harbor over the past week to help search for the mother of 7.

I hope she is found safe! What kind of mushtrooms was she picking? The psychedelic ones? Or possibly, she was attempting to pick "food" mushrooms, and popped one in her mouth and it turned out to be a psychedelic one; then in her haze, she wandered off and is lost. Either way, I hope she is okay! My prayers go out to her and her family.

Reading this broke me heart, She wasn't answering our phone calls on Sunday, and i didn't know why.... I hope she's found, soon, and safe.. :'( .. <3 her "adopted" kids....

Another missing person - instead of a sweet beautiful toddler, this person is an adult person. With NO intention of making less of Sky's disappearance, which is so heartbreaking, does no one else feel her's is important enough to comment on? If nothing else to post a prayer for her safety as well. May God be with both these people of our NW and keep them safe, having their guardian angels wrap their safe white wings around them.
