FEDERAL WAY, Wash. - Police have captured a hit and run driver who caused a multiple-vehicle accident Thursday night.

Five cars were involved in the crash on Pacific Highway S. and S. 272nd Street. at around 9:15 p.m.

Six people were injured; fortunately none of the injuries were life-threatening. The injured were taken to area hospitals.

The driver of a black Lincoln Navigator that caused the accident ran away from the scene.

The suspect, whose car ended up overturned, took off on foot eastbound on S. 272nd Street.

Man Dip Sin, who works at a self-service gasoline station at the intersection, saw the accident and tried to stop the suspect.

"He was walking away, so I asked him, I said wait until the cops come. He kept walking toward those apartments," said Dip Sin. "So I started walking behind him, to try and stop him. He started running."

Dip Sin said he was wearing flip-flops and couldn't catch the suspect.

Police called in the Guardian One helicopter to help search for the suspect. Officers found the man, reportedly hiding in some bushes, at about 11:30 p.m.

It's thought that the suspect, who is in his early 20s, may have an extensive history of traffic accidents and infractions.

Cage, you’re not the only one in their twenties who owns two houses but nice plug though! Don't forget to stretch before you pat yourself on the back.

Not sure why everyone is so worried about him being in his twenties with a navigator. I mean it's a nice car, but you don't have to sell drugs to get one. I'm in my early twenties and I own a house (not my first one either). It's called being "smart" ,saving money and having good credit. I'ts not impossible!!

in his 20s driving a navigator must be a sport player or drug dealer probably got pulled from school from some scout to play sports instead of learning how to live a real life or has rich parents that pay for everything he should be force to ride the bus the rest of his life instead of putting him the can for tax payers to pay for his mistakes

He was what? like in his 20's and driving a Lincoln Navigator?? SO my speculation is he ran because he was high, the car was stolen, he had drugs on him or all of the above ... cause generally rich kids don't run from the police.. they have money to pay for damages.. but this guy plea will be that he didnt want them to know he was using his cellphone but he had it on speaker! sad ...

Insurance doesn't cost that much and then there's no need to run from an accident.

I am sure this idiot has no money, however he should be held financially reponsible for this accident even if it takes years for him to repay the familys police, hospitals and insurance companys
