FEDERAL WAY, Wash. -- Police are investigating a dramatic crash that happened overnight at a home in Federal Way.

Around 2 a.m. Thursday, a pickup truck crashed into a home near 30th Avenue SW and SW 325th Street.

Witnesses say a man had left a party without his headlights on and police quickly followed him. One police car was hit in the chase as officers tried to pull the driver over.

The driver ended up slamming the truck into the side of a home, toppling the chimney and leaving a hole in the wall. No injuries were reported.

The driver was taken to St. Francis Hospital for stitches and then will be booked on suspicion of drunk driving.

Alcohol... Another story that won't be featured on a glitzy TV ad campaign that shows how cool it is to drink.
