AUBURN, Wash. – A deputy was involved in a shooting in Auburn on Saturday afternoon.
The King County Sheriff’s office says deputies went to a home in the 37600 block of 42nd Ave. South to serve a warrant.
There was a second person inside of the house that deputies didn't know was there. When the second suspect threatened them, the deputy fired at him.
The deputy was with a Department of Corrections officer because a felony warrant was being served.
The person they were serving the warrant on was was taken into custody.
The man who was shot was taken to a hospital.
An investigation is ongoing.
