North Korea says it will not release imprisoned American Kenneth Bae early.
The Lynnwood man was arrested in November 2012 while acting as a tour guide in the country. He was sentenced to 15 years hard labor for so-called "crimes against the government."
North Korea's ambassador to the United Kingdom gave a rare interview to Sky News, saying Bae was being treated well, but would not be pardoned before his sentence is completed.
Bae was moved to a hospital last summer after he started having health problems.Bae held a press conference under guard earlier this month in which he appealed to the U.S. government to do more for his release.
